Mothers' Day was lovely this year! I started my day sleeping in to the late-for-me hour of 6:15 a.m. and then getting to stay in my room drinking coffee in my new mug while reading a book.
Margaret made us breakfast and I was feted with darling gifts, many of them homemade.
We attended Mass . . .
My sweet little boys slept through Mass.

After Mass, the family took me out to "linner" (lunch-dinner that we eat on Sundays due to our late Mass time) and the rest of the day was spent being generally relaxed at home.
I felt very grateful.
