Dear blog readers,
Our family is going to be praying a novena before Thomas's next MIBG and CT scans on Sept. 24, which will check the progress of the chemotherapy on his tumor. There are three or four possible outcomes, so this feels like an exceedingly important time for his neuroblastoma treatments.
So many of you are praying continually for him or are praying perpetual novenas, for which we are humbled deeply. If any families would like, we invite you to start a novena of your choosing for the intention that Thomas's tumor has died and shrunk considerably such that surgery is possible and as reduced risk as possible for him. Continued chemotherapy comes with increased likelihood of permanent side effects, so his being able to stop chemotherapy is an important goal.
If you start tomorrow (9/15), a novena will end the day before his scans.
