Self-Isolation Day #22

Saturday, Self-Isolation Day #22

Please continue to pray for my husband's mother D. on a ventilator in ICU with confirmed COVID-19. We very much appreciate it, even though we are choosing not to give detailed, blow-by-blow health updates in this public forum.

I enjoyed early-morning walking alone, admiring this cherry tree in bloom.

It was a work day and mowing season is in full-swing. The children spent most of the day playing outdoors.

For two hours, I was very pleased to attend a Zoom presentation on Homeschooling for College Credit in North Carolina by Jennifer Cook DeRosa. It was an extremely informative session which our seventh grader watched, too, and we are both excited about high-school!

Our diocese is allowing priests to give out blessed palms in anticipation of Palm Sunday, for which we are all so grateful. Today and tomorrow, our priests at various parishes have blessed palms waiting on tables outdoors for people to pick up quickly while maintaining social distancing, no gathering.
