1. Saturday of the Christmas Octave
The girls attended a darling girls' event to which they were invited . . .
. . . and then the children played a hula hooping game they've invented over the last few days. It involves rolling and catching and a complex way of keeping points.
2. Miscellaneous
David (16 months) is getting bigger every day, here pretending he is a big boy who sleeps in a big boy bed!
Margaret (7) read to her little brothers in bed to occupy them for me.
Joseph (almost 6!) is becoming quite the artist these days . . .
3. New Year's Eve
Our family's two night owls stayed up till midnight watching a movie and playing Monopoly. John went to bed as usual because he had to serve Mass the next morning and the rest of us simply had no interest in staying up late!
