UNCC Chamber Orchestra Concert

On Wednesday night, Daddy took John and Mary to another wonderful opportunity for superior orchestral music at rock bottom prices. I grew up in a university town and probably would never want to live far from a university due to opportunities like this!

The children absolutely loved attending the concert.

Under the direction of Dr. Jonathan Govias, the Chamber Orchestra presents the highest-level orchestral performance group at the University. Tickets are $6 general admission; $5 seniors and UNC Charlotte faculty and staff; $4 all students.
PROGRAM
Joseph de Boulogne (Chevalier St. Georges)           Sinfonie en Re
Jan Sibelius                                                                       Valse Triste
Alexander Glazunov                                                         Concerto for Saxophone (Dr. Will Campbell, soloist)
Dmitry Kabalevsky                                                            Suite from The Comedians

  1. I think it's funny and proof of what a good (and cultured!) mom you are by the fact that your kids have only been to Monkey Joe's once, but orchestras and concerts several times :) -Emiliann W

  2. Did you see in the News Herald that Charlotte Catholic's free "A Christmas Festival" concert is at 7pm on Tuesday, December 9th at St. Gabriel's?
