Homeschool kickball season has begun again!
We are tickled and enjoy this time of year so much. One family in town organizes kickball for homeschoolers at a local park for about six weeks' duration. It's free, one shows up on any given meeting or not, and it is open to all ages. No dividing up families, no driving to and fro to drop off kids, no segregating children into ages. Each session begins with prayer and the saint of the day, then ends with prayer.

There were about 25 children at our first meeting, from 2 years up to 17! I so enjoy watching the older teenagers kindly encouraging the younger children. |

Kickball is from 4:00 to 5:00, so I packed a picnic and we ate dinner at the park before driving home, which is what I plan to do at each meeting this season (unlike last season when I was ill-prepared and we ended up eating out at restaurants often). |
