Mom My Ride

Finding this little treasure in my van (that is a partially chewed granola bar and embedded crayon stuck to the bottom of a sippy cup, not something more gross) . . .

. . . reminded me of the ever-humorous "Mom My Ride."

  1. Oh, that's a good one! Thanklfully the crayon hadn't melted. In our old van I once had difficulty figuring out why (and how!) in the world we had fruit flies buzzing around incessantly for a couple of weeks. I later found the remains of a half-eaten, moldy, rotting apple firmly wedged under the driver's seat. Child #3 was notorious for throwing things down when she was done and when she'd tossed that apple down, it rolled and got stuck under my seat. Eww.

I also had to learn the hard way that sippies with milk were absolutely not allowed in any vehicle from March to November, aka Sour Milk Season here in the Deep South.

  2. I've never seen that! It is so hysterically accurate. There is a whole off-color website dedicated to this phenomenon, called "S*** My Kids Ruined". People send in pictures of stuff their children have destroyed. Utterly depressing! :)
