I love these almond meal pancakes, Mama! And it's so great that they are low in carbohydrates and high in protein!

Bonus: This is a sweet video by Kimberly Hahn about offering everything to God. The brief skit is goofy, but actually deep and orthodox in its teaching.

ReplyDeleteevery day! ha ha! sounds expensive!
ReplyDeleteSarah Faith: Yeah, I hear you! Although this recipe uses one cup almond meal for six waffles, which fed everybody here. And I think the Trader Joe's bag contains six cups almond meal.
ReplyDeleteBut, still, yeah, I'm not up to making waffles EVERY morning.

The first time, I used half flour, half almond meal. The waffles were rather floppy, unlike yesterday's batch of typical white flour waffles, which were crisp and delicious, but nutritionally vapid. I plan to keep experimenting and also have another almond meal recipe from a friend of mine.
I watched that video too. Very moving.
