After several days of unceasing pounding, the new roof is installed and quiet again reigns. The baby can again nap and Mama can again hear herself think. (Above are the kids watching through the window as old roof tiles fall.)

The weather is gorgeous and now we can play outside again without risk of being smacked on the head by flying roof tiles, so we're enjoying our time in the sun.
John invented a dual-purpose climbing and swinging structure in a tree using a broom handle and rope. He tells me that it is very dangerous.
Mary discovered that she can ride John's bicycle with training wheels.
I love John's very dangerous invention! Glad your roof experience is over- that did not sound fun at all.
