Sorry... we don't normally do this, but...

... We kindly ask all followers of our blog (who are so inclined) to please take one minute to read and sign this ePetition to the Holy Father.

The Holy Father is preparing the final draft of a "clarification instruction" to the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum, and there is some concern that this instruction will include some vague language which could be exploited by some really bad people in the Church who want to restrict the Traditional Latin Mass.

Our good friends at the Rorate Caeli website are sponsoring an international appeal to the Holy Father to firstly thank him for the clear language of the original Motu Proprio and secondly to appeal to him to preserve this clear language and to continue to support a wide and generous application of the Traditional Latin Mass.

Thank you and God bless.

PS... after you sign the petition, a misleading screen will appear asking for a donation ... this is not required and you are welcome to just close that screen without making a donation.

  1. I went and signed. I don't know if you've heard of Fr. Z, but he has a blog and has recently talked about this as well.
