Our annual parish carnival is tomorrow, and it is our main fundraiser of the year. The carnival is open to the whole community and offers carnival rides, many games, music, and a big cookout. I am contributing by baking four batches of
Magic Bars, to be sold at the Women's Society bake sale. I'll also be manning the table for 90 minutes on Saturday, and Chris will be helping set up in the morning. (The kids did not actually help with any baking because of John's lingering cough, but they did watch.)
Out of the oven
Cut into bars, wrapped in plastic wrap, and ready to be refrigerated overnight
