Miscellaneous Monday

This morning I heard John call to Mary loudly, "Mary! Come here!" Mary walked over and John said in such a caring tone of voice, "Now, Mary, this morning we are taking you to a doctor to check on your foot. But, don't worry, it won't hurt very much." So sweet! (Fifth appointment overall, first visit with a third doctor, to look at a lesion on Mary's foot that hasn't healed in almost four months. But we think we got it figured out now: a simple, but bad, spot of eczema.)

The children giving the "reading nook" a whole new meaning

Maybe they didn't like me taking photos of them reading in their nook because they hung a drape.

While watching a television show, John decided to sit on a table. Then I heard shrill screaming. Mary wanted a table. I got her a table. They resumed acting like zombies, staring at the television.

Half past seven (can you believe it?!): Two children asleep, kitchen cleaned, floor mopped. Mama ready to pop in a good movie and try to finish Mary's dress! Relaxation!
