A Serving of E. Coli With That Bath Toy?

Watch this four-minute video if you'd like to learn more about the vile, disgusting germs growing on children's bath toys. Thank God we threw away all our bath toys with holes in them more than a year ago. Now I am going to walk upstairs and disinfect the toys we do own. I've lost my appetite!

  1. Oh, gag! I got rid of squirty toys a long time ago, but we do have toys that they play with every time. I always rinse the tub when I rinse the children and let them play in fresh water for a while. I wonder if our toys are just as contaminated? Better to disinfect them anyway.

  4. Yep, natural bath toys here! Wood spoons, shells, wood boats, sponges, etc. My sister did find some safe plastic, non-squirting ducks for the boys recently, however. Odd Ducks, I think they're called.
