I feel so privileged to be a stay-at-home mom and that means I get most of the tough questions from John, by the mere fact that we're together all our waking (and sleeping!) hours. I'm so grateful that I get to answer these questions, presenting Chris' and my beliefs, even if sometimes the questions make me pause. Chris and I have been laughing lately over the tough questions I've been receiving from our not-even-three-years-old boy lately (laughing because Chris watches or hears me struggling to answer adequately at a preschooler's level).
"What is dead/death/die/died?"
"What is that?" ("A gun.") "What is a gun for?"
"Where is Jesus?"
"Where is God?"
"How do we get to Heaven?"
I love it! He is so thoughtful!
