Today we expected a high of 76 degrees--in November! We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon visit from a family from church and their seven children. After they left, there was still some sunlight and plenty of warmth left, so the kids played in a crunchy, dry leaf pile in the back yard.

Marina: How nice to hear from you! It's funny, I seem to recall that John as a baby used to eat everything on the ground, but Mary hardly at all. Isn't that funny? Or perhaps it's my standards that have changed, I don't know!
