Today I didn't put John down for his afternoon nap so that he'll actually fall asleep by 8:00 or 8:30 tonight and I can watch a special episode of The Biggest Loser (one of my indulgences). But the little boy has thwarted me and fallen asleep by himself in the den (remarkable if you know that he's fallen asleep on his own and not in the car only a few times in his life).

The Boy Is Thwarting Me
Today I didn't put John down for his afternoon nap so that he'll actually fall asleep by 8:00 or 8:30 tonight and I can watch a special episode of The Biggest Loser (one of my indulgences). But the little boy has thwarted me and fallen asleep by himself in the den (remarkable if you know that he's fallen asleep on his own and not in the car only a few times in his life).
