Extrapolation

Yesterday we drove past a school with children milling around outside it.

John asked, "What is that?"

I answered, "A school."

John: "That's where kids have schooltime with their mamas!"

    That's surprising that he asked the question. John is so aware of children and for an eldest child plays with them extraordinarily well...typically this place in birth order is more timid. I notice he has the same cautious nature of an eldest but get's right into the mix adapting to their agenda...he even suggests other goals of the activity. I saw him leading the pack marching with school agers behind him ... announcing they were "looking for a treasure;" it was so cute and amazing. love you all! Mom
