Sarah: I don't know when John reached this milestone! He was more spitty and suffered reflux longer than Mary. It's probably because I'm tandem nursing that Mary is having an easier time!
Impressive! We didn't get that day until 9 months. And then Theo suddenly stopped spitting up almost overnight...going from spitting up anywhere from 5 to 15 times a day. Go figure.
Good heavens, yes! I didn't bother changing my shirt because I knew I'd just get spit up on again. So I just perpetually had nasty whitish streaks on my clothing, and that rather rank spit-up smell. I definitely don't miss that!
LOL!! What a nice milestone. Ha ha. Do you have a similar one for John?

ReplyDeleteOh, Cathleen, that is a long time! I find it very wearing to always look slovenly because of being covered in spit-up, didn't you?
