Sweet boy asleep with Lambie and Reindeer Bear:
Two nights last week, John and I ate dinner alone, during which time he was very conversational, using so many words so quickly that I didn't always know what he was talking about. Each night he said very seriously to me, "Don't worry, Mommy. It's true, honey."
Oh my gosh! That is SOOOOO funny. I love it. I just adore the things these toddlers day.
ReplyDeleteJust the other day, I was watching a smalzty movie and couldn't stop crying (an obvious side effect of pregnancy), and Emma patted me on the arm and said, "It's okay Mommy. You don't need to cry...it's happy."

ReplyDeleteChristina's outburst of talking is timed about the same and I cannot believe half the stuff that comes out of her mouth. "I already did it" is my favorite. lol

ReplyDeletei rmbr one time when my oldest [then btwn 2-3yo] said, "that's the point." I wondered where on earth she got that phrase from - it sounded too funny coming from her little mouth. My dh knew exactly - it was from me, of course! I never realized that was a phrase i used often!
