Chocolate Does a Mama Good

Chris did a sweet thing for me today because he knows I've been flagging while facing the normal care giving of a five-week-old, learning how to parent two kids, the deluge of Christmas preparations, a toddler who has had intermittent fever (up to 102) for a few days, so he's cooped up in the house and cranky, and now my succumbing to the illness. Chris snuck out and bought me one of those edible creations that is chocolate-covered strawberries made to look like a bouquet of roses. He came home and said casually, "The mail arrived and there are some packages in the kitchen. I'll be working in my office." In the kitchen I found my delicious treat! Thank you, honey!
