Monday evening John helped me make muffins (from a mix), which he seems to really enjoy. If the camera had not been rolling (making him self conscious), you would have heard him using baking vocabulary with ease: mix, eggs, milk, muffins, mess.
Note that John is now saying "more," which might be the first verbal word he is now using when he has long had a sign for it. (Oh wait, I think his first word in that category was "nurse.") He still uses the sign for MORE while using the verbal word too.
You'll notice that John gets a smidgen of wet batter on his finger while stirring, causing him to halt until I'm willing to wipe his hand clean: he can be rather fastidious.
mmm...Jiffy is my favorite muffin mix! I've tried making muffins from scratch before, but the Jiffy ones come out better, so I stick with them! The blueberry ones are my favorite :-)
