Travel Report

I don't have any new photos yet as I've been all a-flutter getting settled back at home while managing John who is now not even on West Coast time, but is on no routine at all, and still has a cold.

I just want to report to my curious readers that our flight home was the best ever, perhaps in part to some of your prayers. John never cried for more than five minutes. He played happily on my lap, napped, then played some more. I was in the last row with an empty seat behind me and John enjoyed waving hello at those passengers standing in line to use the restroom.

In developmental reports, John is doing two new things: He has just learned to wave hello and bye-bye, although he is certainly not consistent about it. Also, he is learning how to actually hand me something instead of just put it in my palm, not let go of it, then retract the object. I hold out my hand and ask, "May I have that please?" He puts it in my palm and I say, "Thank you!" Then I ask, "Would you like it back?" and I place it in his hand. He takes it back and I say, "You're welcome!" We can do this a dozen times in a row, which is cute and tedious all at the same time.
