What's Cookin'? A birthday cake! In my effort to learn how to bake cakes, I baked a cake for Chris' upcoming birthday, which we are celebrating with family tomorrow. I made Absolutely the Best Yellow Cake from
Great Cakes and Fluffy Chocolate Buttercream Frosting from
The Cake Mix Doctor (cutting the cocoa powder about in half because Chris likes light chocolate). From sampling both the cake and the frosting, I think they don't out well! I present photographic evidence in case leprechauns make off with my cake overnight . . .
