Exciting Feet

John has definitely found his feet. Last week he grabbed one, seemingly accidentally, while on the changing table. Now he grabs at them all the time. In fact, he wakes up in the middle of the night to laugh and play and grab those exciting feet! I "play possum" (pretend to be asleep) and after about 30 minutes of entertaining himself, John curls up and falls asleep again.

John is also rolling back and forth with much enthusiasm. He seems to have forgotten that he knows how to roll over front to back, so once he rolls back to front, he just hangs out that way until he gets tired. Once he remembers he can roll over front to back, then he'll start rolling across the room to get where he wants to go. Baby-proofing, here we come!

Household tip of the day: After years of buying spray bottles at various stores, for them only to be cheap and spray badly and be worthless, I finally found an excellent, high-quality bottle for cleaning liquids from the Clean Report. Thanks for the tip, Sarah!

  3. I'm glad I could help in your quest.
I found Christina eating her feet today. She has been playing with them for a week or two now and I was wondering when she would try to put them in her mouth.

  5. That is one of my most favorite milestones, contemplation of hands and feet, baby nibbling on his own toes. Little joys!
