Two Firsts in One

John has been drooling and chewing things with increased fervor, so yesterday Chris gave him a refrigerated teething ring to try. John chewed on that thing with more passion than we've seen him chew on anything! He must have chewed it for 15 minutes straight. At one point, it fell out of John's mouth because Chris had been holding it and wanted John to hold it himself; John began screaming immediately. Showing anger at a toy being taken away is a developmental milestone that shows up around this time and one we hadn't seen before in John. So, we got two firsts in one!
