I a new, big fan of Huggies Overnights. Before my friend Shannon gave me half a dozen to try, John was in a new phase of leaking through his diapers every night, so I had to do a middle-of-the-night change each night, which always risking awakening the baby enough that I'd actually have to work to get John back asleep. No good!
These Overnights keep John dry. This morning, I weighed his pee-soaked diaper on my postal scale: 11.1 ounces! That's nearly a pound!
Unfortunately, these Overnights are elusive. My friend Shannon had to visit two stores to find hers. I've already visited two stores and have yet to find them in John's size three. But after nearly a week without overnight diaper changes, I am determined to find them, by hook or by crook!
Welcome to the world of big baby boys! I don't know if moms of girls have this problem, too, or not. My oldest, who wears a size 5 or 6 diaper by day, has graduated out of the overnight diapers and into the size 3T overnight pullups (recently moving up from the size 2T). And, yes, I have a difficult time finding the regular overnights for Will and the toddler size overnight pullups for John Joseph. I pray that John Joseph will be potty trained by the time he is out of the 3T's----otherwise, I don't know what I'll do. -------Ashley
ReplyDeleteI think another factor is that John does so much nursing overnight that he has a lot of inflow and outflow!
ReplyDeletehave you tried luvs overnight? i heard those are good too. maybe easier to find? i think they are cheaper too.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen any other brand of overnight diapers (except Pull-Ups for big kids). I'd try any brand. It is so great not to have to change a diaper in the middle of the night and risk fully waking John.
