About 24 hours' worth of rain caused me to cancel the field trip I'd organized to pray for the holy souls at a local Catholic cemetery. We hope Wednesday provides us better weather for another attempt.
Instead we did a regular school day, baked pumpkin scones for morning reading time, and Daddy took the two oldest children to the solemn high Mass tonight.
